DIY: Ombre Straw Hat

Last year I was inspired by Mr Karl Lagerfeld (here) to pulled out my Rit Dye and ombre a wide brim straw hat. Click here to see last years post. This weekend I’m heading to Coachella  (yes honey… this should be interesting) and I thought it was time to update this look with a new color for the season. I hope you enjoy this little how to video.

Thom Browne’s Imaginarium

Thom Browne is magic.I honestly look at Browne’s designs and can’t believe something so beautifully imaginative could even be created like that. Reading about his thought process and how he works is something else. He knows himself so well and doesn’t question himself for anything. He does what he feels and it’s overwhelmingly inspiring to read about.

The eyes of the Butterfly

IMG_4782Parking lot photo shoot done by my sister… Sad to say that this is actually progress for my blogging… Anyway this shirt is definitely something else and I love pairing outrageous t-shirts with a slick toned down cardigan (this one being dark green) and the brown converse just add a touch of roughness. Also the little bling of my chinese symbol necklace   to keep up the character of the outfit.
